Castle by ~Netdog shows complete mastery of lino printing - clean, precise and even lines that look more like a screen print or even vectored lines. A beautifully crafted print. (

Hii! I've currently really gotten in linocutting and printing! When u say 3 layers, do u mean u have basically carved all the details into the lino already, and then u apply the ink one layer at a time?
Hi. 3 layers usually means 3 different colors/blocks. I actually work reductive so this is one block(lino), 3 layers if that's what you are asking.
I basically carve the first layer out, print, and then do some additional carvings on top of it and then print the next layer with darker color usually. And continue the cycle until you get the finished print. With reductive I believe 2-5 layers will work good.
This is a linocut print, which is one of a popular relief printing technique that you carve linoleum, apply ink and print it with hand-operated press.(you can hand print it too)
you can use multiple lino blocks, I used only one. I printed the pink layer 1st, then light blue, then the darker blue on top of each layers.

Can you explain how you did that? Like, very briefly. That'd be amazing to know.
